It's very difficult to stay with something we liked better than the hotel we went to, and it's very easy to find the strengths. While most of the positive feedback on the accommodation focuses on the very high quality of the buffet, this would be an understatement . The sensations conveyed by the location and delicate decoration of the pool, the views allowed from the rooms with a view of the sea, the possibility of going to the gym or enjoying the sunset from the solarium ... is amazing. Obviously the buffet is a marvel. Surprising dishes (from duck to sea specialties made directly on the grill), thematic nights, quantity of any of the dishes of the buffet... incredible. All this without detracting from the staff, who are constantly interested in our wellbeing and maintaining cordiality and kindness in every single moment that there was any interaction. Thank you very much for everything.
In my humble opinion, the accommodation met all the expectations we had placed on it. It's true that we went there in the low season (September), but I don't think the experience suffers too much at times of the year when there's more pressure from tourists. I can only say: bravo.

I greatly enjoyed amazingly great and polite employees!
The breakfasts were really tasty with pancakes and even tortilla, for instance and friendly service. The location was great, relatively near Charca de Suarez. The hotel itself was in a local area, just off the wide beach, Motril for one night en route to Estepona, and Laguna for birds.

I liked the beds, bathroom, they even gave you a bathing cap, in other hotels I've been to, they don't give you. I loved the outdoor pool, indoor pool, yakussi, restaurant with free buffet I loved, I even had hot chocolate for breakfast. I liked everything.
I didn't like that they only had wholemeal bread for breakfast, at dinner they only serve white. I also didn't like the fact that there was no pressure in the shower because the artichoke was quite a few holes clogged with lime. In my house this also happens, but in a 4 star hotel that to have a view of the sea you have to pay 7 euros more every day, they should unplug the holes in the shower, as I love to shower with a good jet as we had when we went later to the Rodalquilar hotel in Cabo de Gata, which was coming out very strong.

we arrived, they had given us a bigger room than the one we had booked (we had a normal double with an extra bed and they gave us a junior suite). Travelling with a small child (2 years old) having a living room and room was great. room was very spacious, you couldn't tell the extra bed... there were two or three others who could have entered!! free buffet of breakfast and dinner was very good and varied. During dinner they put an iron with meat and fish (2 and 2) and they made it for you on the spot. To eat, as we were few, we had a menu. spacious, varied and good. In general, all the meals were great, facilities were well cared for and renovated to a great extent, since it was the low season (May holiday), children were allowed to swim in the indoor pool in the mornings (they usually couldn't), is a detail that hotels don't usually have, it's very grateful when there isn't enough time to go to the beach. Our girl still has baby meal schedules but she already eats "grown up stuff" so the dining room schedules were not useful to us... No problem! for lunch and dinner they prepared a dish for her, always with the greatest love and deliciousness. 10 for all of them!
To say the least, WiFi is very fair to the room.

The beds in our guest room were comfortable, the check-in process was easy, and we received great service here; the internet worked well and there was parking available nearby.

The room was quiet, well equipped, clean, and bright. There was plenty of good parking and the staff was helpful and friendly.
The instructions on how to maintain the room lights on were not explained at all by the front desk at check-in. When I got to my room at night, I could not turn on the lights, and eventually got the light switches to work for brief periods of 5 minutes. I went to bed in the dark and asked the housekeeper next morning what needed to be done to maintain the lights on. She showed me how to use the room card with the electronic card reader just inside the room door. I believe this is something that guests should know before walking away from the main lobby.

A thousand details: the comfort of the beds, which allow a magnificent rest, something essential in a vacation; the really good food, (those rich motrileñas crumbs)... the proximity to the beach, the views to the sea from the room,... that sunset is priceless... But the wonderful places are made by WONDERFUL PEOPLE without a doubt, and so it is in this hotel. The treatment of the personnel is impeccable, exquisite, they are professionals, they know how to be and in addition they are affectionate and they make you feel that they care for your well-being, from the waiters, to the cleaners, the receptionists... It is such a familiar treatment that it has made me and my family fall in love and it is already the fifth time that we visit you and we will continue doing it. A magical place where we feel at home. And a special thanks to the animators Rubén, Noelia and M.Angeles who have played and cared for our children with love "as if they were mine" as they say. Thanks to the Hotel Elba Motril for having made us so happy these days of vacation. We will be back, . a hug.
We have been delighted with the hotel as always as we have already come several times but x put a little snag, the first day on our arrival, the bathroom was not completely clean. It has been commented and solved without problems immediately, so good.
